Koscuiszko from Mannus

$250.00

I had been out painting for the day. Heading home in the late afternoon I came over a ridge at Mannus, NSW and was struck by the beauty of the Kosciuszko Range. I drove off a sidetrack, pulled the canvas from the back and, not wanting to unpack my paints, took graphite, charcoal and a green pencil and quickly sketched the vista before me. The main range, foothills, farmland and big storm clouds. The storm was approaching. I just got back in the car as the rain came down.
