Berringama Spring

$360.00

This painting is one of a series created over the summer of 2018/2019 at various locations in NE Victoria and the NSW Riverina in the early mornings or late afternoons. My aim is to capture the incredible light and landscape of the native Australian bush.

Inspired by the water, changing skies and impressive foliage, each painting captures an essence of the terrain, the weather and our relationship to the land.

All paintings in this series are shadow-box mounted and in a show-wood timber frame ready for hanging.

Painting is all about light, shade, texture and movement. In this series of paintings from the summer of 2018-2019 I spend the cooler times of the day exploring and embracing the natural beauty of NE Victoria and the Riverina in NSW. Whether bright blue skies or storm clouds gathering, the essence of each painting is the unique qualities of the Australian bush...unlike anywhere else.

For those who are familiar with the sights and smells of the trees, the earth after a shower, the warm breeze or sounds of our wildlife, I hope that each painting transports you to those moments and recreates a memory for you.
