Storm Brewing On The Weir
$450.00
A summer storm is forming in the hills behind the Hume Weir near Albury NSW. I was out most mornings and evenings in the ‘golden hour’ light over the summer of 2018 in the Riverina and NE Victoria region where I live to paint the scenery and the changing hues of the land and sky. The wind comes up, making the waters of the weir turbulent and then the storm breaks, giving the thirsty country a much needed drink.
Mixed media painted on canvas and framed in a natural timber shadowbox, ready for hanging or to stand on a shelf or mantlepiece.
