Late on a hot Summer evening when the weir is high the reflections on the water at Bellbridge, Victoria sometimes seem almost chromatic with the intensity of colour. I had been painting for the evening, was about to pack up and it all changed dramatically in a few short minutes. The red of the sunset was so red it was almost unbelievable as was the bright blue of the water. With the contrasting silhouettes of the trees almost black by this stage, I had to work fast.
Framed ready for hanging in a shadow box or can be freestanding.
